Calling on the vocabulary of the occult, we created tour visuals for The Rolling Stones’ epic anthem – Sympathy For The Devil. Weaving a hypnotic tapestry of endlessly looping symbols that echo the rhythmic samba beat, the elements draw reference from all things dark and mystic. Haitian Voodoo, Mexican Day of the Dead, paganism, talismanic symbols, and even Russian prison tattoos all combine to summon the Lord of Darkness himself. A series of different themed centre screens, side screens, and IMAG frames were created to allow flexibility on tour. It was an immensely satisfying process creating the animation for The Third Company, and we were extremely proud to be able to bring something new to such a classic Stones song.
